Let’s go to America

“Let’s go to America”

They said

They laughed 

And they got me on a car

They drove

At night

And they point to me a gate

“that’s the door of America”

Before the day

We arrived

To another apartment

It was not America

They told me

I must behave 

Otherwise 

They would punish me like my pa

I remembered calling my ma

To prepare my clothes

And watched her

Disappearing at the end of the road

The entangled the blooded

all knots become flooded

And the splashed flattened

Soaked to what had faded

The red dots gather as beings

Trapped in interwind lines

The green then rains

Washed over the twigs
